I joined Sea Street Dental in 2017. It’s been amazing to watch the practice grow so we can accommodate more patients and staff. I have over 20 years experience as a dental nurse. While studying Health and social care in sixth form a topic on dentistry was handed to me which I enjoyed very much. That’s when I decided I wanted a qualification in Dental Nursing.
In 2006 | qualified with my NEBDN national diploma which I am very proud of. I have worked for both the NHS and the Private sector over the years and Sea Street Dental is by far my favourite place to be.
In my spare time I love spending time with both my family and friends.
I also really enjoy running 3-4 times a week and spending quality time with my son.
What is your phobia?
Wasps and seaweed yuk.
If marooned on a desert island, what five items would you wish to have with you?
Boom box – old and new music
Sun cream- don’t wanna burn.
Unlimited supply of spring water- to stay hydrated.
Cadbury’s chocolate- need a sugar rush.
Snakes and ladders – to keep the brain working.
What would your favourite holiday destination be and why?
Staying in paradise in the Maldives.
With a book , sea and sand.
What is your idea of food hell?
Seafood platter – eye and tentacles looking at me.
Pork scratching – the smell , taste and crunch.
